Yunlu received his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia (UVA) where he worked in the lab of Dr. Sarah Kucenas and then trained as a postdoc with Dr. David Schoppik at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Yunlu is a light-roast aficionado, write with fountain pens, and practice pottery in his spare time. (he/him)

Lisa received her B.S. from Michigan State University and began her work in the hearing research field in Dr. Yehoash Raphael’s lab at the University of Michigan’s Kresge Hearing Research Institute. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys playing women’s ice hockey, running, and spending time in northern Michigan. (she/her)
